Privacy

Privacy policy

Short version: WiserStaff collects as little as possible. Analytics are anonymous and cookieless, I only hold your email if you choose to subscribe, and I never sell your data. The detail is below.

Who's responsible

WiserStaff is an independent site run by Edy Jr. For any privacy question or request, email contact@wiserstaff.com.

What I collect, and why

  • Anonymous analytics. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies or track you across sites. It records aggregate, non-identifying data (page views, referrers, country, device type) so I can see which articles help people — never who you are.
  • Your email — only if you subscribe. If you join the newsletter or download a guide, your email address (and name, if you give it) is collected and stored by MailerLite, my email provider, solely to send you what you asked for. You can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
  • Server & security logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Cookies & affiliate links

This site sets no tracking cookies of its own, and the analytics are cookieless — so there's no consent banner to click through. When you click an outbound affiliate link (a /go/… link), the destination vendor or its affiliate network may set its own cookie to credit the referral. That happens on their domain, under their privacy policy — see the affiliate disclosure for how those links work.

Who I share data with

Only the processors that make the site run: Cloudflare (hosting, analytics) and MailerLite (email). I don't sell, rent, or trade your personal data with anyone.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA you can ask me to access, correct, or delete the personal data I hold about you (in practice, your newsletter email), and you can unsubscribe at any time. To exercise any of these, email contact@wiserstaff.com and I'll act on it.

Retention

Your newsletter email is kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. Analytics data is aggregate and not tied to you. This site isn't directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update the date below. Material changes to how I use your data will be flagged to subscribers.
